Pierce County's Planning and Land Services (PALS) division is updating the county's Shoreline Master Program and implementing regulations. A Shoreline Citizens Advisory Committee, appointed by the County Council through R2008-12s, will advise PALS staff, the Planning Commission and the County Council and make recommendations on the Shoreline Master Program update.
The Shoreline Citizens Advisory Committee meets on the second and fourth Thursdays at 5 p.m. in the Pierce County Annex. The council's Community Development Committee will begin reviewing the Shoreline Master Plan update in the spring of 2009.
