About Us The Facilities Management Department manages County-owned facilities and real property. There are three divisions within the department: Construction, Maintenance and Real Property Management.
Construction Management activities include planning and oversight of construction projects and managing related contracts with architects, engineers and construction companies.
Maintenance provides a safe, clean and well maintained atmosphere in which to conduct public business. This includes routine repairs, preventative maintenance programs for major equipment and building components, manages food services, security services, pest control contracts, fire prevention and maintenance contracts, elevator maintenance contracts, custodial contracts and completes remodels on a limited basis.
Real Property manages county-owned and tax title properties, leased facilities and associated leases, parking lot management, property acquisitions, property dispositions, and timber management.
