Veterans Assistance Fund
Veterans’ Programs administers the Veterans Assistance Fund as mandated by State Law (RCW 73.08) to provide emergency relief to indigent veterans residing in Pierce County. Pierce County Veterans provides emergency assistance with food, rent, utilities, medical and burial assistance to qualified indigent veterans and family members.
Veterans Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center is designed to provide a one-stop shop for veterans' assistance, connection to resources and to help veterans and their families apply for benefits and programs with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). Pierce County has partnered with many local non-profits, state, and federal agencies to help better connect veterans to help within the Veterans Resource Center. Veterans Advisory Board
The purpose of the Veterans Advisory Board is to advise the Pierce County Council on the needs of local indigent veterans, the resources available to local indigent veterans and programs that could benefit the needs of local indigent veterans and their families.
Ending Veteran Homelessness
