Training Attendance Standards
Supervisory Approval
You are responsible for obtaining supervisory approval for attending classes. This includes LinkedIn Learning courses required as part of Independent Learning.
Attendance Expectations
Employees are expected to have cameras on and microphone capability. Class curriculum dictates being able to see the screen, hear, and speak to other participants and the trainer. If you do not have this capability or need an accommodation please notify us at
[email protected] ahead of time.
Employees are expected to be dressed in a workplace manner, have an appropriate background, no distractions, muted when not speaking, and have completed any Independent Learning. More information about virtual etiquette is available
here.
Late Arrivals / Early Departures
Please note the scheduled start and end time for your class and make the necessary arrangements to attend the full time. Arriving late or leaving early is disruptive to your learning, the trainer, and other participants. Late arrival may prohibit you from entering the course. Leaving early may prevent you from receiving credit for the course. Supervisors will be notified of late arrivals / early departures.
Schedule Conflicts/Cancellations
If you have other appointments that conflict with class time or are unable to attend, please drop the course in Workday Learning and reschedule for a later session. This allows other employees on waiting lists for classes the opportunity to attend.
We hope this will be space where you can be vulnerable, ask questions, and respect others' perspectives. We ask all to behave in a way that contributes to that environment.
