Our Kite Festival is back bigger than ever with two fun-filled days at Chambers Creek Regional Park. The entire family will be captivated by amazing kite demonstrations, family kite flying, inflatables, food trucks, vendors, and other fun activities! Bring your kites, blankets, cameras, and get ready for this adventure-packed weekend of kites.
Each day 250 kites will be given away, compliments of the Pierce County Kitefliers Association!

Admission tickets must be purchased online and may be purchased in advance. When purchasing a ticket online, select the date and time frame.
A limited number of tickets are available for each day of the event. If a date/time does not appear on the ticket purchasing site, that day/time is sold out.

- Is my ticket good for the entire event?

Your ticket is valid for one time admission ONLY for the day and time slot you purchased.
- What if I can’t make it on the date I chose?

All ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Will there be bag checks at the gate?

No, there will not be bag checks. We will have some delicious food vendors on site, but feel free to bring your own food and beverages. Alcoholic drinks are not permitted.
- I bought my ticket ahead of time. What do I need to bring?

Guests will be asked to show a printed admission ticket or one loaded on a mobile phone. The QR code will be scanned upon arrival.
- Can I buy my ticket the day-of?

Yes, tickets may be purchased on-site with Visa/MasterCard. You may also purchase your ticket on-site via your smartphone at https://www.piercecountywa.gov/1268/Kite-Festival.
- Will you accept cash or credit card for tickets purchased on site?

All sales will be done via smartphone at https://www.piercecountywa.gov/1268/Kite-Festival. We are unable to accept cash payments.
- Can I walk or bike in?

Chambers Creek Regional Park will be closed to foot and bike traffic. All guests are asked to purchase a vehicle admission ticket and enter the park off Chambers Creek Road near Chambers Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Is this event suitable for all ages?

Yes! Bring the kids, grandparents, friends, and anyone else!
- Can I bring my own kite?

Yes! Feel free to bring your own kites!
- I don’t have a kite, can I buy one?

We will have kite kits available for purchase at $4.00/kit. All purchases will be done via smartphone. We are unable to accept cash payments. Ocean Shores Kites will also be on site with kites available to purchase.
- Will Chambers Creek Regional Park still be open to the public?

- Can I bring my dog?

Please no dogs, except service dogs who are trained to service your disability while in attendance. We request service dogs be clearly marked for this event due to the large crowds and to prevent confusion by guests and staff.
