About Us

Pierce County Human Services (PCHS) provides assistance through vital services and programs to support people in need such as veterans, older adults, children and families. In addition to working with clients one-on-one, PCHS also contracts with community-based agencies and local providers to deliver services.  

We’ve made it our mission to strive to ensure all of Pierce County has equitable access to and a voice in these services. Below is information on PCHS’ Strategic Plan, which outlines the goals, objectives, and strategies we’ll use to make the biggest impact for our community.
