Volunteers are the heartbeat of Pierce County. Pierce County Parks offers a variety of fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities. Come share your expertise on our advisory boards or be a coach in our youth sports programs.
If you love the outdoors, our parks, trails, and natural areas are a great way to volunteer your services. Your skills and talents are matched with your work preference to obtain a role that satisfies you and best fulfills the mission of Pierce County Parks.
No experience is necessary, we’ll train you. You may work on a part-time basis. You can participate in a one-time project or serve over several months, seasons, or year-round. The commitment you make is up to you.
Corporate or Group One Day Service Projects
Many opportunities are available for corporate and one-day service project volunteers. Your service may include planting gardens, litter pickup, and other various park or trail improvements. These events not only contribute to making our parks the beautiful destinations that they are but also serve as opportunities for team building.
