Special Events
Volunteers can assist with special events such as dances, fun runs, car shows, festivals, Movies in the Park, Pitch In For Parks, Touch-A-Truck, Special Olympics, and more.

| Saturday May 20 | 4:00-40:00 PM | Come help with the Family Dance at Frontier Park in Graham. Decorate, create some ambiance that pairs up with our theme, and monitor the snack and refreshments. | 18412 |
| Sunday June 4 | 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM | The Foothills Dash - Foothills Trail in Orting. Help assist with the breakdown and set up of tables/chairs/canopies and various event-related equipment. Check participants in/direct participants on the course, encourage runners on the course, help at various road crossings to ensure participants can cross safely, distribute water/food, and take photos. | 18454 |
| Saturday June 10 | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM | Kidz Kraze at Chambers Creek Regional Park. Volunteers will help run activities, games, parking, set-up, and clean-up. | 18393 18394 (parking) |
| Saturday June 24 | 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM | Pooch Paw-ty at Meridian Habitat Park in Puyallup. Volunteers will assist with set up, take down, the dog agility area, scavenger hunt, arts/crafts, and costume contest. | 18411 |
| Saturday July 22 | 8:30-11:30 AM | Fast and the Furriest fun run with pets at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place. Volunteers will help with set up and take down, water stations, check-in table, and game area. During the race, volunteers will cheer for participants while passing out medals at the finish line. | 18414 |
| Saturday August 19 | 12:30-7:00 PM | The Family Campout event is a night sleeping under the stars at Chambers Creek Regional Park. Volunteers will be helping with the tent set up for participants, running games, and making popcorn and s'mores. | 18399 |
| Saturday May 13 | 8:30-11:30 AM | Join us for our first Superhero themed 5K fun run at Chambers Creek Regional Park! Volunteers will assist with check-in, water stations, and directing runners on the trail. Just like our runners, we encourage the volunteers to dress up in superhero gear as well. | 18407 |
| Satruday June 24 | 8:30-11:30 AM | Donut Dash 5K is a fun run you'll definitely want to be a part especially since you'll get free Legendary Doughnuts for helping out! Volunteers will assist with check-in, crosswalks, water stations, and the donut stations | 18408 |
| Saturday July 22 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM 12:00-5:00 PM | We need volunteers at the Bark by the Bay event to help our furry friends and their humans have fun and stay safe. | Saturday August 5 or Sunday August 6 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM 12:30-5:00 PM | Help make this annual Kite Festival the best one yet! Volunteers are needed to help customers assemble their kite kits, assist with parking/traffic control, help at the Pierce County information booth, and provide general event support throughout the event.
