  E-Cycle Washington

A 2006 Washington state law requires electronics manufacturers to pay for this recycling program. This is an example of "extended producer responsibility" where the company that makes a product is responsible for recycling the product at the end of its life. Manufacturers include the costs of recycling their products in the cost of doing business.

While the list of products is not inclusive of all electronics, E-Cycle Washington provides free recycling of computers, monitors, TVs, tablets, e-readers & portable DVD players.
