Environmental Education in Pierce County

Our mission is to cultivate relationships between communities and the environment by providing the knowledge, tools, and connections necessary for people to work, play, and learn together.

We do this by providing free and low-cost classes and programs to Pierce County residents that increase awareness and knowledge about environmental issues and provide the skills necessary to make informed decisions and take responsible actions. We promote lifelong learning and reach all age groups.

Our vision is that all Pierce County residents participate in a vibrant, healthy, and engaged community which reflects a holistic understanding of living systems and a reverence for all existence.
