A Pierce County Planning & Public Works employee brought his engineering skills and interest in flying model airplanes together to improve a tool used to measure stormwater ponds in the county.
The result was a reduction in time to map the bottoms of the ponds, increased accuracy in the mapping, and improved safety for staff. Find out more in the video.
