Install nearly 8,600 feet of new sewer pipe to support development along the 176th Street East corridor. The project will extend sewer pipe along Military Road from 22nd Ave East to 36th Ave East. This project will occur at same time as 28th Avenue East Pump Station project.
Extend sewer service to a 370-acre area in the Frederickson area. Build a new pump station and install 1.25 miles of pipe. This project will occur at the same time as Military Road Interceptor project.
The Hidden Hills Pump Station was built in the 1980s and is nearing the end of its 30-year design life. This project will extend the service life of the facility by upgrading electrical systems and pumps and install approximately a half-mile of new sanitary sewer force main in University Place.
The Parkland/Brookdale Interceptor is one of Pierce County's largest sanitary sewer pipelines in a network of sewer pipes and pump stations that convey wastewater from unincorporated Pierce County to the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.
