Special Events / Parade Permits

Requirements


The Pierce County Code requires that the sponsoring organization shall provide a certificate of insurance showing public bodily injury liability coverage with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence. The certificate shall name Pierce County as an additional insured for the event and it is understood that the sponsor’s insurance is primary over any insurance carried by Pierce County.

Forwarding the Certificate


The certificate should be forwarded to Pierce County Risk Management department for approval prior to final approval of the sponsoring organization's permit at:
