5/25/2023 - The Frontier Park Lodge's kitchen and restrooms along with the kitchen in picnic Shelter A will be closed from June through July for construction as part of our system-wide ADA Improvement Project. This unique park in Eastern Pierce County holds a variety of events, weddings, receptions, meetings and retreats.

Frontier Lodge


Frontier Lodge is our newest building that is very popular for classes, weddings, receptions, and company parties. You can utilize one or two rooms for all your activities.

Lodge Rental Rates:

Entire Lodge:

  • $210 per hour for a function with food. Includes both sides and both kitchens.
  • $130 per hour for a function without food.

Side A: Can host 140 around tables. A large stone hearth and gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the room. 

  • $130 per hour for a function with food. This rate includes one kitchen.
  • $80 per hour for a function without food.

Side B: Can host 72 around tables.  

  • $80 per hour for a function with food. This rate includes one kitchen. 
  • $55 per hour for a function without food.
Damage Deposits:
Damage deposits are due at the time of booking and are refundable as long as there is no damage, the facility is clean and the renter leaves by the scheduled end time.
  • Non-Alcohol Functions:  $250
  • Alcohol Functions:  $350

Picnic Shelters and Facilities

Covered Picnic Shelters

Three covered picnic shelters are available:

  • Shelters #1 & #3 have 10 tables and share a common grass area.
    • Shelter #1 is close to the playground. The fee is $85/day.
    • Shelter #3 is on the opposite side. The fee is $85/day
  • Shelter #2 has an enclosed kitchen, electricity, and 12 picnic tables. 
    • Fee is $230/day with kitchen or $115/day without kitchen. The kitchen deposit is $200

Equestrian Facilities

The facilities are suitable for horse shows, horse training clinics, and horse riding clinics. 

  • Two horse barns with a total of 88 stalls
  • Warm up arena
  • Main show horse arena
    (200 feet by 150 feet)

Horses are also allowed outside of the arena in undeveloped areas of the park for easy and scenic strolls.

Front Grounds

Large gatherings can reserve the entire front grounds or a section of the grounds can be used for smaller functions.

  • North Front Grounds - $100/day plus deposit
  • South Front Grounds - $100/day plus deposit

Agricultural Facilities

Agricultural display buildings and arenas along with the animal display buildings are available for small animal shows and vet clinics. 

  • Fee ranges from $10/hour to $50/day plus deposit.
General Rental Information

Reservations are accepted a minimum of 3 weeks in advance and no more than a year in advance of the event date, on a space-available basis.

Rental fees are charged for each reservation. Depending on the events scheduled in the park, a parking fee may also be charged. Large areas of the park are available to the casual user at no charge. Prices are determined on an hourly basis and on the type of function.
