League Purpose: This is strictly a recreational coach officiated program. The focus is a safe and positive experience while learning respect, sportsmanship and the basics of outdoor soccer. There are no league championships and no win-loss records will be kept. Everyone plays regardless of ability. Boys and girls play on the same team.
Practices are held on weeknights (Monday-Thursday) beginning September 30, 2019 through mid November at Sprinker Recreation Center. Each team will practice one night a week, a practice schedule will be given to each participant as well as be available online.
Games are played on Saturdays at Sprinker Recreation Center starting the week of October 5 through mid November. Each team will play six or seven games, weather permitting. Games begin after 9 a.m. A game schedule will be made available online for all participants once the league begins.
Pierce County Parks and Recreation will supply balls, cones and soccer goals at Sprinker Recreation Center. Each participant should supply their own shin guards and cleats.
