Purdy Creek Water Quality & Fish Passage Scoping

About the Project
The goal of this project is to improve fish habitat and water quality for the lower part of the creek and Burley Lagoon. The existing culverts near the Park and Ride and under the Purdy Chevron gas station are considered partial barriers for fish passage.

Benefits include:
  • Improves fish passage for coho, chum, steelhead and cutthroat trout to move upstream to spawn and rear.
  • Improves water quality and in-stream habitat.
