What we do:


Environmental Services provides permitting services and environmental expertise for Surface Water Management (SWM) construction projects.

Environmental Services is comprised of wetland and fish biologists and planners; all of whom offer technical expertise to the teams that build and maintain SWM facilities. The professionals within this section provide biological assessment, design assistance and other forms of technical assistance so critical areas are protected.

The section also guides SWM projects through complex permitting processes to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, including the federal Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act. In addition, the section provides management for projects such as wetland banking and salmon habitat restoration, obtains grant funding for SWM habitat restoration and flood reduction projects.
