Fox Island Bridge

Fox Island Bridge Repair Project

Expected to begin early winter 2023 (previously late fall 2022), the Fox Island Bridge girder repair project will focus on degraded bearings on the mainland end of the bridge, Pier 17 and Pier 20.

  •  A delay in the work schedule is anticipated due to material acquisition.

  • This work is expected to take 1.5 months to complete.

  • The bridge may be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic during active construction.

  • Flaggers will direct traffic as needed during work hours.

  • It is possible the bridge may be closed several times for short periods at night during the project.

  • We will provide notice prior to these short closures including variable message board.
