Request Court Records
**SOCIAL SECURITY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ELECTRONICALLY CERTIFIED DOCUMENTS**
- Certified copies can be obtained in person, by mail or electronically through LINX
- Fees for certified copies are $5 for the first document page and $1 for each additional document page (in accordance with RCW 36.18.016(4))
- Payment can be made with a cashiers check or money order (cash or debit also accepted for documents requested in person)
**PERSONAL CHECKS NOT ACCEPTED**
For documents filed after Jan. 1, 2002, you may go to LINX - Legal Information Network Exchange. Choose the “Search” tab and type in either your case number or name in the appropriate block and click “Search.” This will allow you to access documents, pay for, view and/or print the documents online.
For copies of documents filed between January 1991 and December 2001, that are not imaged, please fill out this Scan Document form to request the documents be imaged for purchase. Requests submitted will be available for purchase through the LINX website within two (2) business days. You will receive an email confirmation when the documents are available for purchase.
For records filed prior to January 1991 please call the Clerk's Office at 253-798-7455.
TO MAIL IN A RECORDS REQUEST YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING
- A letter with your name, contact information, case number and name of document(s) you are requesting
- A cashiers check or money order with the correct amount for your request (call 253-798-7455 for exact amount owed)
- A self-addressed envelope w/ postage
- Requests can be mailed to

- Fees for non-certified copies are $.50 per page if requested in person or by mail and $.25 per page if requested online through LINX (in accordance with RCW 36.18.016(4)

- E-file your completed Transcript Request Form through LINX
- Bring your completed Transcript Request Form into the Clerks Office
