What's Happening

Engineering: We're completing design of a new sidewalk along the west side of 14th Avenue NW (CRP 5812). We've recently shortened the new sidewalk to match to planned trail improvements in the new community recreation center.

About the Project

When constructed, the 780 feet of sidewalk will connect along 14th Avenue Northwest from 300' n/o 29th Street Northwest to the Cushman Trail (CRP 5812) and will connect to the new trail proposed in plans for the new community recreation center. The new sidewalk is planned to include:
  • A 6-foot wide pervious cement concrete sidewalk.
  • 2-foot wide gravel shoulders on each side of the sidewalk.
  • A 5-foot wide buffer between the edge of the sidewalk and the edge of the existing paved shoulder.
