2017 Chambers Creek Regional Park Master Site Plan
The Pierce County Council adopted the 2017 Chambers Creek Regional Park Master Site Plan (MSP) on December 5, 2017 (Ordinance No.2017-83). This is the second ten-year update of the MSP that has guided the development of the former sand and gravel mining site into a spectacular park.
This 930-acre regional park is the home to a world class golf course and includes two miles of saltwater shoreline, two and a half miles of urban creek with a forested canyon, walking trails, soccer fields, open lawns, and breathtaking mountain and Puget Sound views.
The MSP defines allowed uses and future development at the site. The MSP also provides the basis for capital facilities planning and other financial mechanisms to further fund MSP implementation.
