Continuum of Care

Continuum of Care (CoC) Board

The Tacoma/Lakewood/Pierce County Continuum of Care (CoC) Board produces and oversees implementation of the CoC's Plan to Address Homelessness. The Board consists of representatives from a variety of sectors, including local government, public housing authorities, schools, health care, law enforcement and faith-based communities. The CoC was established to meet federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements for funding services and programs to reduce homelessness.

Members are appointed for three-year terms but may apply at any time. Apply to be a member of the CoC here. For more information about the CoC, please contact Jeff Rodgers by email or phone at 253-651-1823.

Pierce County Human Services is designated by the Continuum of Care Board as the Collaborative Applicant and the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) lead. The Continuum of Care Board is not a County entity.

The Continuum of Care is looking for new members!

The CoC’s vision is an equitable service delivery system in which all participants collaborate to achieve the prevention and elimination of homelessness in Pierce County. We invite you to join us in moving towards that vision.
