2017 Pierce County Budget
The County Council adopts an annual budget by December 1 of each year, after review and consideration of the preliminary budget prepared by the County Executive. During the rest of the year, the Council may consider supplemental budgets and other budget changes, such as provisos and companion annual budget proposals.

The Pierce County Council has set the final Council hearing for Ordinance 2017-13s for its Council Meeting on June 20, 2017.
During a Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday, May 9 at 4:00 p.m. the Council approved Committee Amendment 1.
The following amendments were not considered on May 9 but could potentially be considered during the June 20 meeting:

The Pierce County Executive has provide Council with a 2017 supplemental budget request. The Council is currently reviewing the supplemental budget requests and holding Committees of the Whole. All COW meetings are held in Council Chambers, 930 Tacoma Avenue S Room 1045.
