Jody Ferguson, CCN Executive Director

Mrs. Ferguson was a Distinguished Fellow at the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security at the FEMA headquarters in Washington, D.C. She served as a state and local advisor for a variety of programs and projects within FEMA’s National Preparedness Directorate.  Mrs. Ferguson earned an associate’s degree from Pierce College, a bachelor’s degree at Pacific Lutheran University and a master’s degree in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security.

Tim Lenk, CCN Chief of Operations

Tim Lenk is the Division Manager of the Communications Systems Division for Pierce County Emergency Management with an annual operating budget of more than $3 million.  Since 1997, Mr. Lenk has been responsible for Pierce County’s public safety radio infrastructure, mobile command program, and public safety mobile and portable devices, consisting of VHF, UHF, and 700 MHz infrastructure and new construction.  In 2007, the County’s Enhanced 911 and Communications Divisions were consolidated into the Communications Systems Division and became the responsibility of Mr. Lenk.  Other responsibilities Mr. Lenk holds in Pierce County are, Emergency Operations Center Manager, Regional COMM Unit Leader, and also sits on the States 911 Advisory Committee as a voting member.
