A project to improve accessibility in the vicinity of 177th Street East and 180th Street East west of 38th Avenue East began July 15. The work is expected to be complete in early August.
Crews are in the process of installing curbs and gutters.
About the project
Crews will remove and reconstruct existing curb ramps and add new curb ramps that are in compliance with current Americans with Disabilities Act standards. Click on the "Project Location" icon above to view a map showing where the work will occur.
Work hours will be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Lane restrictions will be needed in work areas. Pedestrian access will also be restricted.
The contractor is Four Seasons Concrete Construction LLC. The construction cost is approximately $217,000. This project is funded with County Road Funds.
