Summary:

Pierce County is currently seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ’s) from Professional Architectural and Engineering firms interested in providing an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Compliance Assessment and evaluation, development of a facility(s) accessibility plan, prioritization of deficiencies and a transition plan for correcting identified deficiencies. 

The selected Consultant team (Consultant) will assist the Pierce County Facilities Management Department in preparing its Assessment and Transition Plan in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations for County facilities. In general, the plan will cover 2 areas: Building sites and Campus and County buildings. The County currently has 24 public buildings on 6 campus(s) located throughout Pierce County. The Consultant will work with the County identifying deficiencies that limit accessibility and prioritize projects with a priority schedule and rough preliminary cost estimate to achieve compliance.
