Parking and site improvements, including utilities, landscape planting, seed lawn, paving, and automatic spray irrigation. The work proposed includes all the necessary *permits, fees, materials, equipment, labor, and related items to construct improvements located at Meridian Habitat Park located at 14422 Meridian East, Puyallup, WA 98375.
Work generally includes: demolition and removal and/or reinstallation of existing site features, work includes TESC, existing tree and plant protection, and site protection; installation of below grade utilities, site grading, gravel parking improvements; installation of cement concrete paving, asphalt concrete paving, crushed stone paving, site furnishings and signage, chainlink fencing and gates, seed lawn, and automatic irrigation.
ADDITIVE BIDS ARE ALSO REQUESTED:
Additive #1: Soil and subgrade preparation, tree and groundcover plantings, mulch, root barrier, and crushed stone maintenance strip with steel edging at amphitheater area.
Additive #2: 5’ wide crushed stone path at northeast corner of site.
Additive #3: Install drinking fountain at off-leash area plaza space.
* Pierce County Parks and Recreation have acquired the site development permit, a SEPA determination of non-significance, and the Department of Ecology General Stormwater Construction Permit for this project. A building permit is not required from Pierce County for this work. The contractor is responsible for any other construction permits required for this project and shall include such fees in their bid.
