Fairfax Forest Reserve Road East (CRP 5861)
What’s Happening

Design Engineering: We are planning repairs and replacement along 2 miles of Fairfax Forest Reserve Road East between Poch Creek and the Mount Rainier National Park Carbon River Entrance. Improvements being considered include:
  • Installing guardrail
  • Upsizing 5 existing culverts
  • Adding 2 new culverts
  • Resurfacing the existing road

Land:  All work will be on National Forest and National Parks land or County road right of way. 

Survey:  County staff has gathered necessary field data of the project area to support initial design engineering. Further surveying may take place later in the project.
