The Boundary Review Board is a quasi-judicial, administrative body empowered to make decisions on such issues as incorporations, annexations, extensions of utilities, etc. by cities, towns, and special purpose districts. It can approve, deny, or modify a proposal. Its decisions are appealable to the Pierce County Superior Court.
Below are links that outline the process and requirements to initiate annexations as well as factors and objectives that the board must consider when reviewing annexations.
