Commemorative Benches

Pierce County Parks and Recreation is pleased to offer the opportunity to purchase a bench along a paved trail or selected park throughout the county.  The gift of a park bench is a great way to remember loved ones, honor achievements, or celebrate those who have reached milestones in their lives while supporting Pierce County Parks and Recreation.

Program Details:

Commemorative benches cost $5,000 each. The price includes the cost of the bench, a 5” x 10” stainless steel memorial plaque with inscription, freight, installation, and maintenance.  Benches are available in two styles:

Park Sites - Black Benches
Trail Sites - Green Benches

Service Life

Benches become the property of Pierce County Parks and Recreation when they are installed. Parks will maintain and care for a bench for ten years until it reaches the end of its useful life. This service will include repairing or replacing a bench that becomes damaged in the first 10 years of use. When the bench reaches the end of its useful life, the Department will not be responsible for replacement and may remove the bench at its sole discretion.

Orders & Payment

To place an order please complete and submit the online Commemorative Bench Order Form.

  • Please review the location site maps and choose a desired bench location number to include on the order form.
  • Orders are accepted January through November.
