The town of Buckley was incorporated in 1890 and grew rapidly due to the abundant natural resources in the area. The town sits in the shadow of Mount Rainier on a plateau above the Puyallup River valley.
The community is a close-knit small town that is close enough to the urban centers of Puget Sound to provide the best of both worlds.
