Barriers to Access

Crosswalk at 176th St E
Barriers to access

Our Self-Evaluation Report identifies pedestrian facilities that do not comply with the ADA. Facilities that do not comply can be barriers for people with disabilities. We will update this inventory as new facilities are built and as existing facilities are improved.

Examples include:
Crosswalk leading up to a curb with no accessible ramp to the sidewalk
Missing curb ramp
Curb ramp that leads to grass, rather than a landing space
No level landing/turning space
