Do you love the earth?  Do you demonstrate your care for the earth in how you make decisions and act? Do you worry about keeping the earth healthy for generations to come? Join other youth, like you, in Youth Engaged in Sustainable Solutions (YESS)!

You're invited: 2023 Yess town halls

What do you love about your community? Are you concerned about climate change? What is your climate story? We want to hear from high school students in Pierce County!

Join the Pierce County Sustainable Resources Division for a virtual town hall to ask questions, share your stories and give your input on the Pierce County Sustainability 2030 Plan. There are two opportunities to make your voice heard:

Saturday, March 18 (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) -or- Wednesday, March 22 (4-5:30 p.m.)

Participants will receive: 

  • YESS canvas tote, upcycled newspaper pencil
  • Certificate for 1.5 volunteer hours
  • Chance to enter into a raffle for ice bumper cars tickets at Sprinker Recreation Center.
