Your artwork could be featured on the cover of Pierce County's updated Sustainability 2030 Plan!
We are seeking submissions from high school students in Pierce County. Your work should answer the question: "What's your vision for a sustainable Pierce County?"
Submissions may be shared on Pierce County webpages and social media. The winning art piece will be used by Pierce County for promoting the Sustainability 2030 Plan. Additional prizes include tickets to Point Defiance Zoo or vouchers for ice bumper cars at the Sprinker Recreation Center.
The recommended artwork sizes are 8.5x11 or 11x17. Submissions are due by April 21, 2023.
We are all impacted by our changing climate, but the impact might look different depending on where you live or what you enjoy doing. How are you and your community affected by climate change? Where do you find motivation in confronting the climate crisis?
Share your climate story (i.e. picture, poem, story, video, etc.) for a chance to be featured in the Sustainability 2030 Plan update, Pierce County TV and/or Pierce County social media and webpages.
Open to middle and high school students in Pierce County.
