Planned improvements to the Steilacoom Ferry Landing Cylinder Replacement (CRP 6934) include the following:

  • Replacing the transfer span main lift cylinder.
  • Replacing the spherical bearings at both ends of the transfer span.
  • Replacing the cylindrical bearings at the landward end of the transfer span.
  • Minimal ferry service interruptions may be necessary during construction.
