City of Sumner Business Grants
The City of Sumner is making available a total of $320,000 of ARPA funding for business development grants, ranging from $5,000 - $100,000. The City is working to fill downtown storefronts and provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and new businesses. Applications are due June 1, 2022.
Pierce County Business Accelerator
In response to the pandemic and the adverse impacts on underserved communities in Pierce County, the County Council has allocated $5M of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to launch the Pierce County Business Accelerator. The program serves entrepreneurs and business owners throughout Pierce County with a focus on underserved communities.
