Planned improvements for the 2021 Road Safety - Safety Edge / Centerline Rumble Strips (CRP 5919) are intended to add safety improvements to the following locations:

Centerline rumble strips have been installed. Crews painted the centerline and installed raised pavement markers Aug. 26.

(280th Street East to ~500 Feet South of North Fork Muck Creek Bridge)
Safety edges have been installed in select locations.

Paving and shoulder work is complete. Crews painted the centerline and installed raised pavement markers Aug. 26.

(1,270 Feet North of Kapowsin Creek Bridge to 0.45 Miles South of Puyallup River Bridge)
Crews installed centerline rumble strips on Aug. 27. Crews also installed safety edges in select locations.
