Message from the Teacher

Welcome to…Eatonville ECEAP, nestled in the foothills of Mt. Rainier where we like things simple, natural and fun.  

Eatonville ECEAP staff want parents who are the most important teacher in their child's life, to feel equipped and empowered. It is our priority to ensure that parents trust teachers with their child and to build relationships among the staff and other parents. 

We wish for each child in our program to be confident in knowing that we genuinely care about them and their family.  We want each child to have the ability to use their words to express their feelings, to know how to make and be a friend. To be kind, respectful and helpful to others, to enjoy learning, to leave with a feeling of being a part of the bigger picture with pride and a sense of belonging to our close-knit community. We want children to have the love of learning and to know how important they are.

Our goal for families at the end of the year is that they have gained the confidence to trust themselves as their child’s teacher, to know it is okay to be their child's advocate, to trust teachers with their children, to build relationships among staff and other parents.  We want to provide parents with the confidence to go forth into the K-12 system with all the support we could offer and to advocate for their child.
