You may apply online using our interactive form, or you may submit paper copies of the application and accompanying documentation either by mail or in person at our office. See the details below for how to apply online or using a paper application.
Apply Online
When applying online you will complete a web-based form.
You will have the option to upload supporting documents, send by mail, or deliver them to our office. If you want to upload documents:
Scan supporting materials, as applicable.
Upload completed forms to the online form along with any other supporting documents when prompted.
After approval, the exemption applies until a renewal application is required. This happens at least once every six years. A renewal application packet will be mailed to you in your year of renewal.
Status Change Notices
A status change notice will be mailed to participants during their non-renewal years. You must complete and return the status change notice if your income category or eligibility has changed.
You must notify the Assessor-Treasurer’s office if:

You sold or purchased property
You no longer live in your home
Your spouse/co-owner/partner passed or retired
You are no longer disabled or have entered into gainful employment
Your marital status has changed
You did not live in your home more than 6 months in 2022
