Work to install guardrail along Alder Cutoff Road East began Oct. 4. Minor work was completed Jan. 18. Guardrail was installed along several sections of a 3.5-mile stretch along Alder Cuttoff Road East located south of Eatonville. Please see the locations in the table below.
In mid-November, crews began installing guardrail along sections of Crescent Valley Drive Northwest and Rhodes Lake Road East. They replaced guardrail reflectors along a section of 214th Avenue East. Minor work was completed Jan. 18. Please see the locations in the table below.
About the Project Improvements for the 2021 Road Safety - Guardrails (CRP 5918) project included installing guardrail at various locations throughout the County. The locations include:
Group 1: Crescent Valley Drive Northwest (MP 11.00 to MP 11.03)
Install guardrail on the right side of the roadway.
Group 2: Rhodes Lake Road East (MP 4.67 to MP 4.90)
Install guardrail on the left side of the roadway.
Group 3: 214th Avenue East (MP 3.25 to MP 3.33)
Replace the existing guardrail reflectors only.
Group 4: Alder Cutoff Road East (MP 5.12 to 5.20; MP 5.12 to 5.38)
Install guardrail on both sides of the roadway.
Group 5: Alder Cutoff Road East (MP 4.15 to 4.18)
Install guardrail on the left side of the roadway.
Group 6 & 7: Alder Cutoff Road East (MP 3.19 to 3.29; MP 3.34 to MP 3.49)
Install guardrail on the right side of the roadway.
Group 8: Alder Cutoff Road East (MP 1.25 to MP 1.34)
Install guardrail on both sides of the roadway.
Group 9: Alder Cutoff Road East (MP 0.56 to MP 0.63)
Install guardrail on the right side of the roadway.
Group 10: Alder Cutoff Road East (MP 0.17 to MP 0.30)
Install guardrail on the right side of the roadway.
