Ferry Fares for 2023

New ferry fares effective Jan. 1, 2023 
  • Ferry fares in 2023 will increase 6.2% over the 2022 rates, effective Jan. 1, 2023. 

The amounts of the increase vary by season (peak and non-peak) and the ticket type.

All fares will continue to be round trip and collected outbound in Steilacoom.

Ordinance No. 2021-102s

The fares were established through the adoption of Ordinance No. 2021-102s on Nov. 16, 2021. Learn more about the rate changes.

Single-use tickets purchased prior to 2023 will expire on Dec. 31, 2022

Starting Jan. 1, 2023, single-use tickets (peak or non-peak season) purchased prior to Dec. 31, 2022 will not be accepted, regardless of the printed expiration date.  All Value Pass tickets will be accepted through their printed expiration date. 

Value Pass tickets are not eligible for refunds.

Fares for 2022 and 2023

The following fare prices apply for 2022 and 2023. Peak season rates are in effect from the Friday before Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day of each year. Non-Peak season rates are in effect the remainder of the year.

*Value Pass tickets are valid for 40 days from date of purchase until the expiration date indicated on each ticket. They may be used by only one passenger per vehicle per trip and may not be used by other vehicles or passengers waiting to board the ferry vessel. No refunds for unused, lost, or stolen tickets. Value Pass tickets are not eligible for refunds.
