On April 15, 2021, Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier signed the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reduction Plan: Sustainability 2030. The plan calls for a reduction in GHG emissions of 45% below 2015 levels by 2030. Reducing emissions also enhances public health, improves air and water quality, and supports our economy.
The Sustainability team is working on an update to the Plan.
