Following a felony conviction, a client may be court ordered to participate in monitored supervision. In lieu of further incarceration, the client is released into the community under court supervision. The client is monitored and may be subject to a certain set of conditions and regulations such as obtaining a drug and/or alcohol evaluation, attending treatment, payment of legal financial obligations, etc.
A DAC attorney is present at review hearings to represent individuals alleged to be in non-compliance with court ordered conditions of sentence.
