Pierce County has adopted new precinct boundaries. The new precinct lines will be in effect for the 2022 Primary Election.
The boundaries are a result of the 2020 census. Precincts have been adjusted or changed to align with new county council, legislative and congressional boundaries. Both the county and state were required to redistrict based on the census to balance population between the election districts. The new boundaries resulted in precinct changes across the county. Pierce County now has a total of 730 precincts. Prior to these changes Pierce County had a total of 610 precincts.
