What's Happening

Engineering: We have completed the field survey and have done some preliminary assessments for the project area. We are currently determining how this project will be coordinated with potential developer improvements and/or projects performed by our Parks department.

About the Project

Planned improvements to 90th Avenue East from 128th Street East to 126th Street East are intended to increase pedestrian accessibility and trail connectivity, and include the following:

  • Constructing a 10-foot wide multi-use pathway.
  • Providing a connection to the Heritage Recreational Center and other non-motorized pathways in the Puyallup South Hill area.

Project Timeline

March 2022 to April 2022: Complete field surveys.

May 2022 and Beyond: Complete preliminary engineering, right-of-way acquisition (if necessary), environmental documentation, bid documents, and construction. These activities are currently on hold while coordination with other nearby projects is worked out.
