Pierce County Parks offers Pierce County school-aged youth (ages 4-21) the opportunity to participate in diverse and high-quality recreation, sports, and leisure programs that are accessible and affordable. Scholarship opportunities are available to those who might not be able to participate because of income through the WRPA Seek Fund.
Applications for the Youth Summer Scholarship program closed in September 2022.
Depending on your household size and income, qualifying individuals may get 50% of fees covered toward registration fees up to $300 maximum per household per calendar year as long as funds are available.
Scholarship eligibility levels are determined by Tacoma/Pierce County HUD Metro FMR Area Income Limits.
Household Size is defined as those on your Income Tax return and/or all individuals living in your home that you care for.
Total Household Income is defined as the total income before taxes of all adult household members for the year.
