Youth Summer Scholarships

Pierce County Parks offers Pierce County school-aged youth (ages 4-21) the opportunity to participate in diverse and high-quality recreation, sports, and leisure programs that are accessible and affordable. Scholarship opportunities are available to those who might not be able to participate because of income through the WRPA Seek Fund.
Applications for the Youth Summer Scholarship program closed in September 2022.

2022 Youth Outdoor Recreation Programs (Register through Activenet):

  • Challenger Sports Soccer Camps
  • Coleen Hacker’s Success Soccer Camp
  • Skyhawks Sports Camps: Outdoor Volleyball Camp, Multi-Sports Camps, & Flag Football Camp
  • Skimboarding Camp
  • Steel Soccer Camps
  • Summer Eco Camp
  • Summer Science SeaCamp
  • Youth Ultimate Frisbee Camp (status - full?)
  • Cheer Camp (Partially takes place outdoor)
  • Youth T-ball/Coach Pitch (2022 program TBD - usually runs last week of June through July)
  • Fun Runs (separate fees for youth): Foothills Dash, Donut Dash, Chambers Color Run
  • Superhero Course
  • Camp Pierce
  • Camp Lots of Fun
  • Prepper Camp
  • SR EcoCamp

 Golf (register through Kemper Sports system at each golf course)
