Our Policy & Legal Responsibility
Attorneys have a duty to respect and protect the confidentiality of a client’s case. The attorney-client privilege protects the communications between the attorney and the client. Lawyer confidentiality further keeps confidential anything pertaining to the representation of the client.
It is important to understand that the attorney is representing the client and the client’s interests only, and is not able to reveal confidences or details about the case to family members, including parents of juveniles and/or friends of the client without the client’s express permission.
