Gonyea Playfield Master Plan

In 2023 and 2024, Pierce County will work with the community to develop a Master Plan for Gonyea Playfield. The Master Plan will identify park improvements for this dated playfield. Gonyea Playfield has received minor improvements since its development in the 1960s. Pierce County will construct the first phase of improvements identified in the Master Plan in approximately 2026.
