Chambers Creek Regional Park - Central Meadow


Run, walk, or fly to the Superhero 5K at Chambers Creek Regional Park. Come dressed as your favorite Superhero and race through the course in heroic fashion. Get ready with a pre-race warm-up hosted by Jazzercise. There will also be photo booth opportunities, lawn games, and special appearances by a couple of superheroes from Emerald Kingdom Parties. Pink Gorilla Espresso and Food Truck will also be onsite.

This fun run/walk is a 5K course, USATF certified, and chip timed. The trails at Chambers Creek Regional Park are fully paved with challenging hills. Results will be made available once you cross the finish line and will be posted on the website the week after the race.     

Registration:

Keepsake medal is included with registration fees.

Registration Fees:

  • $30 - ages 13 & up
  • $25 - youth 12 and under
  • Pre-Register online by May 3, 2023.  
  • Day of event registration will be available no later than 9:20 a.m. at the check-in area.

Check-In:

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with the drop-in Jazzercise warm-up beginning at 8:50 a.m.

  • 8:30 AM - Check-in 
  • 8:50-9:25 AM - Pre-race warm-up
  • 9:30 AM - Run starts

May 12-14 - Superhero 5K Virtual Run

Enjoy the Superhero 5K in the comfort of the environment of your choosing! 

How to Compete:

  • Register for the virtual run. 
  • Run or Walk indoors or outdoors. You can also complete your challenge in multiple parts or all at once until you reach the 5K goal.
  • After registration, race packets and the keepsake medal will be mailed on Friday, May 5, via USPS.
  • Share your achievement with your friends and tag us on Facebook @piercecountyparks #superhero5K

Registration:

  • Participants must pre-register
  • Registration fee is $20 (event t-shirt not included) 
  • Pre-register online by May 3, 2023
