What’s Happening Engineering: We are beginning the design engineering for the project which includes collecting field information and creating construction plans.
Land: Additional right-of-way needs will be assessed.
Environmental: Necessary environmental permits will be obtained.
Surveying: County surveyors will be in the area gathering field data for the project.
About the Project Planned improvements for the ADA Improvement Program - 2024 are intended to improve accessibility and sidewalk connectivity at various locations throughout the county. Planned improvements will include removing and reconstructing curb ramps, adding ramps where needed, and evaluating sidewalks within the project limits that do not meet ADA requirements.
The Locations include:
Group 1: 78th Avenue East (196th St Ct E to 100' s/o 192nd St E) & 192nd Street East (76th Ave E to 76th Ave Ct E)
Group 2: 122nd Avenue East ( 200' n/o 170th St E to 168th St E) & 168th Street East (119th Ave Ct E to 122nd Ave E)
