After many months of conversations and meetings, the 2023 update builds on the original Sustainability 2030: Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan. It further clarifies two distinct sets of focus areas, community and municipal, and emphasizes the incorporation of community voice throughout. The updated plan was passed on October 24^th, 2023, signed by the County Executive on November 1^st, and will go into effect in January of 2024.
